Lien Disclosure

HBOTT.com facilitates connections between patients, attorneys, and clinics—including discovery of providers and referral tools. HBOTT.com is NOT a party to any financial lien agreements between attorneys and clinics. Any lien, Letter of Protection (LOP), or similar financial arrangement is solely between the attorney (or law firm), the patient, and the clinic or provider. This disclosure explains how liens and LOPs work in that context and your responsibilities.

What Is a Lien / LOP

In PI cases, you may receive HBOTT (hyperbaric oxygen: first T for Therapy, second T for Treatment) services with payment deferred until your case resolves. A lien or LOP is an agreement between the attorney, patient, and clinic or provider—not HBOTT.com—where the provider looks to the proceeds of your settlement or judgment for payment. HBOTT.com does not enter into, guarantee, or enforce these agreements.

Your Responsibility

You remain ultimately responsible for the cost of services. If your case does not resolve in your favor, or if proceeds are insufficient to pay the lien in full, you may still owe the balance. Terms (e.g., reduction, waiver) are set forth in the specific LOP or lien agreement you sign.

Attorney Involvement

The lien program described on HBOTT.com often involves your attorney's acknowledgment or agreement (e.g., LOP) to pay the provider from settlement or judgment funds. HBOTT.com does not provide legal advice; your attorney can explain how liens affect your case and distribution of proceeds.

Billing and Disputes

Billing amounts, interest (if any), and payment order relative to other liens are governed by your signed agreement and applicable law. Disputes should be directed to HBOTT.com and, if applicable, your attorney.
